Movement that supports you for life - not just today’s class.
Join Amanda Koh for a morning of exploring how our bodies actually move - and how to make that movement last a lifetime.
International teacher trainer & expert in functional, inclusive movement, Amanda brings a science-backed yet playful 2.5hr session designed to help you understand how and why your body moves, not just what it can do. This workshop is a masterclass in body awareness with heavy focus on how important this connection is for anyone navigating life in a changing or atypical body.
It's biomechanics broken-down.
We’ll unpack the role of the pelvis in spinal movement & neutral/imprint spine, what they mean for your practice and how to use that knowledge to strengthen safely. Then we go deeper, learning how to develop internal brain-body awareness of stabilisers (support your joints & posture), the difference between ligament laxity vs muscle weakness, how to actually find core activation (and release!), and stay strong without overstretching.
Expect practical tools, plenty of “aha” moments, and zero pressure to perform.
Perfect for anyone keen to learn how to help their own, or their clients bodies through hypermobility, neurodivergence, EDS or the myriad of hormone changes that come with aging. Whether you're a beginner, are finding that your practice needs to evolve, or are are a movement teacher who wants to better serve this kind of client, this workshop is for everyone wanting to move with confidence and longevity.
